ACCESSIBILITY

Is the hotel easily accessible with a wheelchair?
Regrettably, as our building contains rooms that were not designed with wheelchair users in mind when it was originally built, we are unable to accommodate guests who require the use of wheelchairs at this time.

CHECK-IN / CHECK OUT

What is the hotel check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is at 11am.

If I arrive early will my room be ready?
If you’d like to check-in early, please request this when booking or by calling reception on 01355 229771. Please note, there is a fee for early check-in and late check out. This is charged at £10 per hour. We offer luggage storage so if you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your bags at reception and head out for the day. This also applies if you would like to leave luggage after check-out and collect later in the day. Unfortunately, due to availability, we can’t guarantee an early check-in.

Check-in Deposit
A £50 holding deposit is required at check in, which will be released within 24 hours of check out.

Early Check-in & Late Check out
There will be a charge of £10 per hour for early check-in and a charge of £10 per hour for late check out. For further information, please contact our Reception on 01355 229771.

DINING

What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in Guy’s Restaurant on the upper ground from 7.00am – 10.00am Monday to Friday, and 8.00am – 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday.

What time is dinner served?
Dinner is served in Guy’s Restaurant on the upper ground from 5.00pm – 9.00pm Monday to Sunday.

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

Is there any availability or offers on the dates I’m searching for?
Our official website is the only booking platform where the best rates are guaranteed. Bookings can be made on-line, by telephone or email.

How do I make changes or cancel my reservations?
We do hope you’ll come and stay with us but if you need to cancel then you can do so any time up to 24-hours before your arrival date, free of charge. If we don’t receive notice of your cancellation within this time scale, then your credit or debit card will be charged for one nights’ stay per room booked under your name. Any amendments can be made by emailing enquiries@thebrucehotel.co.uk or calling 01355 229771.

If you have booked through a third party such as Expedia or Booking.com please contact them directly to make cancellations or amendments.

Non-Refundable Reservations (Advanced Purchase Rates)
Must be paid for at the time of booking and no refund will be made should the booking be modified or cancelled. This policy overrides the above Cancellation Policy.

ROOM INFORMATION

Are small pets allowed in the hotel?
For the comfort of all guests, we don’t allow any pets to stay in our hotels with the exception of guide dogs.

Can I smoke in my room?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, we do not allow smoking or vaping in any part of the hotel including rooms. There are designated smoking areas which can be advised by our reception team. The penalty for smoking or vaping in The Bruce Hotel is £100.

TRANSPORT AND PARKING

With East Kilbride town centre close by there are plenty of opportunities for shopping as well as quick public transport or road access to Glasgow City Centre. For those who want outdoor activities, the hotel lies close to several golf courses. The hotel is also just 30 minutes’ drive from Glasgow Airport.

Does the hotel have a car park?
We have free underground parking under the hotel. Please note, this is on a first come, first served basis.
