East Kilbride Village Christmas Lights Switch On will be taking place on the 17th of November.  The Village will be turned into a Winter Wonderland for this event. Guaranteed to get you in the festive mood.

Presenter Gina McKie will host the annual Christmas Lights Switch On festivities. Which will be filled with free entertainment, games and giveaways as crowds await the arrival of Santa!

A traditional Christmas market will be open from Midday – 5pm. And the event will also include performances from local dance and theatre groups, a festive sing-a-long and, of course an appearance from Santa Claus.

 The organisers are even guaranteeing snow for the Switch On! May not be real snow but it will definitely add to the atmosphere as the switching on of the lights will trigger a fall of flakes from above.
